Jim Pauley has served as president and CEO of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) since 2014. Prior to joining NFPA, his career spanned 30 years in the electrical and energy industry; he holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and is a licensed professional engineer.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is a global self-funded nonprofit organization, established in 1896, devoted to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical and related hazards.
